The term “Black Friday” originated in Philadelphia and was used to describe the massive traffic jams that clogged the city's streets and sidewalks the day after Thanksgiving in the 1960s. It spread to all American states. and Canadians around 1975. It is not a public holiday even though many consider it to be!
Cyber Monday is the following Monday and is dedicated to online shopping as its name suggests!
