GALAXY Solar Eclipse Glasses - CE Certified - August 12, 2026 Eclipse
Description
On August 12, 2026, the sky will darken. Your eyes, however, will remain protected.
A total solar eclipse will cross Europe on August 12, 2026; it will be partial in France, with an obscuration of up to 97.9% in Toulouse and over 92% in Paris. A rare and unforgettable spectacle… provided you watch it without ever risking your eyes. The red GALAXY glasses, CE certified according to EN ISO 12312-2:2015, are designed exclusively for direct, ophthalmically safe observation of the Sun.
Description
GALAXY eclipse glasses are not ordinary sunglasses. They are equipped with a patented double-layer filter, developed exclusively worldwide by SKY & SPACE in collaboration with an internationally renowned research laboratory.
The silver side reflects harmful solar radiation, while the internal black filter recreates a clear and distinct image of the star, in a natural orange tint. The result: maximum visual comfort and flawless safety.
Their 130 mm wide filter covers the entire front of the glasses, including the nasal bridge, making it impossible to accidentally tear or alter. The rigid cardboard frame features the black / red / white colors of this GALAXY model.
Warning: a pair of eclipse glasses with an uncertified filter, or one benefiting from a "complacent certification," offers no guarantee to its user. A few tens of seconds of exposure are enough to cause irreversible retinal burns, which are painless and permanent. Take no risks.
